Students Make Media (Germany 2021)

In the first week of February 2022, eight pupils from Slovenia and two pupils participated in an exchange within the Fake News project among teenagers in Germany with our partners in Ludwigsburg. Pupils from Germany were also there; their peers from France and Austria joined us over a videoconferencing tool. They participated in the Students make media program prepared by aspiring teachers of the Mathilde-Planck-Schule. In addition to getting to know each other and the culture, students learned about the mechanisms of conspiracy theories and fake news articles, and then made talk show, vlog, explainity, or stopmotion films using the possibilities of a modern media lab and which they presented the last day. They took advantage of one afternoon to visit nearby Stuttgart, in Ludwigsburg they visited the beautiful Residenzschloss and got to know South German cuisine like spätzle or maultaschen. The project will end at the end of May with an exchange in Bulgaria.
